<p>Amazon Prime Video is holding a big event in Mumbai to reveal their 2024 titles. The Rana Connection by Rana Daggubati is one of them. Rana and Karan Johar had a lighthearted, rapid-fire exchange throughout the function. Playing a game of rapid fire, Rana asked KJo which child was his favorite. Jokingly, Karan Johar questioned if he had to choose between Roohi and Yash.</p>

<p>In response, Rana made it clear that he was talking to Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan—the stars he introduced in Student of the Year. Upon being asked by Rana to choose between Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Alia Bhatt, Karan quickly joked, “Let me do some mental math and say Alia.” “It’s just a safer answer for me to give you right now,” he said.</p>
<p>In the 2012 Karan Johar film Student of the Year, Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood acting debut. The actress portrayed Shanaya in the movie, a wealthy and obnoxious girl who enjoys shopping and isn’t the smartest but loves her relationships greatly. She has now portrayed a wide range of roles, including Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the final film directed by Karan Johar. That movie, however, is still dear to her, as it was her first. During a recent interview, Alia spoke about her first encounter with Karan.</p>
<p>While I was still in school, I received a call to meet with Karan Johar for Student of the Year. I was wearing my uniform as I was practically walking from school in the eleventh grade. At the time, I was much “healthier” and relished french fries more. “I look great, there’s nothing wrong,” I thought to myself. I went into his office and he invited me to come in for an audition, saying I was quite pleasant in person. She has said, “I went in, gave the audition, and the rest is history. I didn’t know what an audition was.”</p>
<p>The National Award-winning actress is in the filming phase of her next project, Jigra. In addition to starring as the main character, Alia and Karan Johar are co-producers of the movie. The director of the movie is none other than Monica, O My Darling’s Vasan Bala. Additionally, there are rumors that she is working on Baiju Bawra with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.</p>
