Shuttle Portugal Open is won by Devika Sihag

<p>She defeated England’s Freya Redfearn 21-10, 21-18, in the qualifying round. She then defeated Turkey’s Ozge Bayrak 21-16, 21-16, and defeated Hungarian challenger Agnes Korosi 21-11, 21-10.</p>
<p>Devika defeated Lee Xin Yi Megan of Singapore 21–10 in the decisive match. Devika, a first-year Chitkara Business School Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student, won the Victor Swedish Badminton Open Tournament 2024 in January. To win the championship, Devika—ranked 174th overall—overcame Loenice Huet of France, ranked 79th.</p>
